I also could not entirely remember how it all went down with the coin grabbing, and absolutely squealed with joy over the video and the noise! Yes, the noise! I shared this with my family and everyone flipped 🥳🪄Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862785981784811341.post-78485060973815139202021-12-09T19:33:48.321+00:002021-12-09T19:33:48.321+00:00Can i buy itCan i buy itFurbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17677693983201947481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862785981784811341.post-14503990329106725042021-06-24T11:20:31.392+01:002021-06-24T11:20:31.392+01:00I was around four or five when I spotted this appl...I was around four or five when I spotted this apple on a shelf in our local toy shop. I admired it every time we went there and with a lot of begging, my parents finally bought me this shiny apple. I didn't even know what it was at the time and when my parents showed me the coin sitting on the little platform and the worm coming out to grab it, I thought it was pure magic. I still have my toy apple, but the front flap with the apple's eyes' one bracket broke so now it is in two pieces. The wind-up mechanism has also taken a few knocks over the years. I wish I could restore it - but nonetheless, this is one of my most prized posessions.Little Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15705002316568633474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862785981784811341.post-24987085646288813392016-11-07T04:29:10.893+00:002016-11-07T04:29:10.893+00:00My grandma has the one I fed when I was a kid.My grandma has the one I fed when I was a kid.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18042985084351737332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2862785981784811341.post-74686306550482051152016-01-07T09:14:07.759+00:002016-01-07T09:14:07.759+00:00Lmao!!

It was starting to drive me crazy because I could only vaguely remember the apple and maybe a worm but could not remember how it all went together. Every so often when the cat is playing and shows his sharpy teeth, I get a memory of the sound of that toy and thought I was going batty. But now seeing the worm and its fangs the association makes sense!

This was a hilarious toy and I enjoyed it so much as a kid. Thank you for coloring in that memory!Jennoreply@blogger.com
