Re-Rooted Strawberry Shortcake Doll

Hair was an absolute mess when I got her, chopped to pieces so I re-rooted her with some vintage Barbie Refill Saran I had ...

It's slightly different in colour & I have made it a little longer than her original hair.

I have also added extra to it so it is thicker and fuller than the original and also so much Softer!

Strawberry scent added to hair.

Paint on mouth is a little chipped so maybe she could do with a touch up but I wasn't feeling that brave!

Hat and Dress are original items.

I bought these to customise but now i'm not so sure lol the one on the right has hair like vintage action man with just a couple of tuftie bits of saran...her eyes look kinda nuts tho so i could change her into a insane pixie or something!

Ooak Custom, Strawberry Shortcake to Custard Doll!

 As Bought - Her face was in need of a repaint, eyes were dull and scratched. Face paint was faded and scratched off in parts, she was nekkid and suffering form a very bad case of Attic-Bed Head! Which came with a very musty odour too!

I started by washing her hair, several times, styled and dried it, then added a strawberry scent to it.

After that I started on the face paint.

Then I made her a tight fitting cat suit, complete with tail and Voila...One "Custard" doll to go with my near- perfect Strawberry Shortcake Doll!
