Donna commented with some really great advice for dolly dress making, so I've copied and pasted it here:

"Looks nice and simple this one. The biggest thing to remember is to get the neck yolk sized right to the doll then you can basically add full, long, short, skirts, drops the waist and add sleeves etc. But te main thing is on the chest, neck & shoulders, get that right and you don't need a pattern!"
